Last night, Primary 3 had a fantastic time on stage in MacRobert Hall, performing their show ‘Ancient Scotland’ to a captivated audience.

The performance featured improvised re-enactments of life through Ancient Scotland, from the prehistoric era through to the Vikings with fantastic songs throughout. In the lead up to the performance, the pupils worked hard to develop their core drama, communication and teamwork skills which came through in their performance to the audience.

Mrs Johnson, Deputy Head, Junior School shared: “We were delighted to welcome friends and family to the MacRobert Hall for a fabulous evening of entertainment with the P3 children showcasing their learning of Prehistoric Scotland, the Celts, Romans and Vikings.  The audience and performers all left knowing some new and interesting facts!”

Mrs Constable, Junior School Teacher of Music added: “What a fantastic time Primary 3 pupils have had learning a selection of songs which support their Ancient Scotland topic. The children have worked hard linking their learning in both Music and Drama and absolutely loved having an audience to perform to.”

We are thrilled to announce that on performance night that £355.05 was raised for our Junior School Charities Homestart Aberdeen and Befriend a Child.
