S2 pupils marked European Day of Languages highlighting linguistic and cultural diversity and promoting lifelong language learning last week.

During language classes pupils celebrated with quizzes and games. They also entered a Great European Cake Off competition and t-shirt design competition. Well done to James F on his excellent Monopoly Flag cake and Morven B for her European t-shirt design.

Within the College there are 37 nationalities. The Nursery curriculum offers Mandarin and French. Within the Junior School pupils are taught French from P1 and Mandarin is offered as a club. In Senior School pupils have the opportunity to study French, German, Mandarin or Spanish. They can also study Classical Greek and Latin.
