We were delighted to welcome back Harlaw Academy, International School Aberdeen and St Margaret's School for Girls who joined a cohort of RGC pupils for our Model UN Conference in June.

All pupils were required to tackle an emergency situation where all electronic payment methods were taken offline by an unknown group.

Model UN Coordinator, Mrs Willetts shared: "Despite their best efforts, they were unable to pass a resolution and the crisis unfolded with zero action from the UN. However all delegates had an excellent time and as teachers, it was such a pleasure to watch our pupils mix and interact with others to improve their skills of diplomacy, debating and their knowledge of geo-politics."

Best Delegation was awarded to Mexico (ISA), with Highly Commended to South Korea (RGC) and Iran (St Margaret's). Delegations from Syria (Harlaw), Tonga (St Margaret's) and Canada (RGC) were commended.

We all look forward to more regular conferences together in the future!
