National Youth Pipe Band of Scotland

We are proud to announce that three members of the RGC Pipe Band have accepted places for the elite National Youth Pipe Band of Scotland (NYPBoS). Congratulations to Pipers James F, Rory M and Drummer Leo M were all successful in their applications.

The NYPBoS is a non-competing cutting edge performance pipe band for 10-25 year olds in Scotland. Membership is drawn from across Scotland’s 32 councils, and young pipers and drummers come from an array of different competing pipe bands and musical backgrounds, brought together as a collection of the very best chosen to play for their country. The NYPBoS provides a dynamic, exciting, and modern spin on the traditional pipe band experience, and performs both at home and abroad.

Aberdeen Highland Games

Our Pipe Band had a hugely successful day at Aberdeen Highland Games on Sunday 19 June. Despite the unseasonal weather, all of our pipers and drummers performed brilliantly. Results are below.
