Pupils and staff had a fun-filled, energetic week at Countesswells for the annual RGC Sports Camp.
Throughout the week, pupils engaged in a wide range of sports, working on their teamwork and leadership skills. The camp not only provided an avenue for physical exercise but also enabled the children to develop new and existing friendships.
One of the standout themes of the camp was dress up day which brought an extra element of fun and creativity. Children, staff, and even parents participated with enthusiasm, dressing up as Olympic athletes, donning the colours of the French flag, and showcasing the vibrant hues of the Olympic rings.
Some of our P7 pupils shared what they most enjoyed about their week of sport:
“Our Sports Camp highlight of the week was definitely Water Wednesday with slip and slide and water balloons making sure everyone got drenched - even the coaches!”

“It has introduced us to new sports such as Lacrosse and Handball and we have loved working with younger pupils during lunchtime challenges. We are all very sad that this is our last Sports Camp but we are leaving on a high.”
