Our Art and Design, and Technology departments were thrilled to host their first Design Week at RGC.

Senior School pupils were invited to attend drop in skills workshops and activities ranging from animation to textiles and fashion drawing to print design and animation. 

Mrs Maclean, Teacher of Technology shared: “It was a great opportunity for Art and Technology, to promote all different aspects of design. We wanted to show the school community the importance of design in everyday life. It was inspiring to see pupils from all age groups taking part in the activities.”

House events were also held, with fierce games of pictionary (‘Win Lose or Draw’) being played for the chance at taking home the glory. 

Design Week provided an opportunity for pupils to immerse themselves in a topic or activity they may not be familiar with already as well as discover more about future creative pathways.
