We were delighted to see the return of the RGCPA Ball on Saturday 14 May 2022. 

Held at The Marcliffe Hotel and Spa, the biennial ball brought a dazzling atmosphere after a quiet two years. Head of College, Mr Macpherson welcomed guests, Mrs Smith hosted ‘Heads and Tails’ and Judith Palmer, Chair of RGCPA, presented the auction. It was fantastic to see some of our musicians perform throughout the evening.

Judith Palmer, RGCPA Chair said: "The evening saw an amazing £20,990.46 being raised, where the money will be used to enhance the experience of all of our children across the College. A contribution of monies raised will also be donated to support the crisis in Ukraine.

"We could not run any of these events without our dedicated team of volunteers who are all parents at RGC. Many committee members are leaving this year as their children leave the School, and we would welcome some new ideas and fresh perspectives. For the next academic session we are keen to appoint two co-chairs, one from Junior School and one from Senior School and a new Treasurer."

Head of College, Robin Macpherson shared: "It was a fantastic evening and a reminder of what a warm and welcoming parental community we have at RGC. It was great to bring new parents into the social side of life here, and I was bowled over by the generosity of everyone. We have raised significant sums for some really important causes and projects. My thanks go to the committee for their tireless efforts. They did an amazing job!"
