If the hot weather didn’t get the weekend started on a high, the perfect conditions for the return of Saturday Sports at Countesswells would have added an extra bonus for pupils.
Making a special return to the pitches on Saturday was rugby where players in P6, P7 and Senior School got back onto the field to take part in various sessions.

Hockey also added to the activity of the morning where enthusiastic boys and girls from P6 and P7 took part. With plenty of energy in the tank, some of the Junior rugby players joined to play hockey straight after their session.

Mr Harper, Head of Sport, commented: “Once again it was great to see Countesswells full of activity. The weather was an added bonus and we’re really enjoying the strong feeling of involvement in Sport as we come towards the end of what has been a tough year.
“The focus of these last two weekends is to give the pupils back some time that was lost on hockey and rugby from term two, but no matter the activity pupils and staff have just been a credit to the school. The effort, commitment and determination to make the best out of a difficult situation really has shown the strength in our community.”
