Congratulations to Joe R (S6) and Andrew M (Class of ‘22) for their commendable representation of Scotland U20 against Wales U20

Mr McKay, Teacher in charge of Rugby, shared: “It was great to see Joe start for Scotland 20s against Wales on Saturday at Scotstoun Stadium and score two tries. It was even more special to see him share the field with former pupil Andrew M who played the second half. At only 17 years of age, Joe is making excellent progress and is certainly one to watch!”

Mr McLeod, Director of Sport, added: “Joe is the youngest player in the squad and works incredibly hard to balance his school work and rugby commitments. We are really proud of both Joe and Andrew and are excited to see the developments in their rugby careers. They are a true inspiration to aspiring athletes and a testament to the dedication and talent that defines success in the world of rugby.”

In other rugby highlights, Gregor Brown (Class of ‘18) played the full 80 minutes for Glasgow Warriors in their victorious away match in the European cup against Bayonne and one of our rugby coaches Miss Hyland has been selected in the first ever Glasgow Warriors Women’s squad.
