The historic Aberdeen Music Hall played host to a spectacular evening of music as pupils from Primary 2 - S6 took to the stage for the annual Spring Concert. This much-anticipated event brought together families, friends, and the wider school community to celebrate the talent, dedication, and musical passion of the College’s young performers.
The concert programme featured a rich selection of classical masterpieces and modern classics. The pupil-led Charities Committee took the opportunity to raise funds for Kayleigh's Wee Stars, demonstrating the College’s ongoing commitment to community and service. Thank you to everyone who helped raise over £1300 (at time of writing) during the evening.
Mrs Massie, Head of Creative Arts, said: “The Spring Concert is always a highlight of the year, bringing our entire school community together in the beautiful music hall for a truly memorable evening of entertainment. The programme reflected the breadth and depth of musical talent across the school, with performances ranging from uplifting choral pieces and accomplished soloists to energetic ensemble numbers and the unmistakable sound of our senior concert band and pipe band. Each item showcased not only the pupils’ musical skill, but also their confidence, commitment, and enjoyment of performing.
“I am deeply grateful to the music team, pipe band team, and the wider creative arts department for their dedication, expertise, and many hours of preparation behind the scenes in making this event possible. My sincere thanks also go to all our pupils, from P2 to S6, whose enthusiasm and hard work brought the concert to life and to our families and friends for their continued support in celebrating and encouraging the arts within our school community.”
