Our Nursery pupils brought joy and laughter to their families with an unforgettable performance in their annual Spring Sing.

Taking to the stage at The Craig Centre for Performing Arts, the children performed a delightful rendition of ‘The Enormous Turnip’, a beloved classic that highlights the importance of teamwork and cooperation.

The story follows a man who plants a turnip that grows so large it requires the help of his family and friends to pull it out of the ground. It was brought to life with vibrant, catchy songs and plenty of enthusiasm.

Miss Taylor, Teacher of Music, shared: “The nursery pupils worked so hard at learning their lines and songs in a short space of time, which really paid off. They enjoyed making props, learning and singing catchy songs and stepping up to the challenge of this short play for their Spring Sing in the Craig Centre. It was clear from the smiles and joy heard from both the audience and performers, and the level of enthusiasm and effort that everyone put in to make it a special show. Thank you to all of the nursery staff and Mrs Johnson for their commitment and teamwork - I couldn’t have done it without you all.”
