The atmosphere was electric at the Aberdeen Aquatics Centre as Senior School pupils dived into an afternoon of competitive swimming, house spirit and sporting excellence at the annual Senior School Swimming Gala.

From the first whistle, pupils demonstrated impressive skill across freestyle sprints, breaststroke, backstroke, butterfly, and the highly anticipated house relays. 

Mr McLeod, Director of Sport, shared: “The races themselves were thrilling to watch, with swimmers showcasing impressive speed, skill, and determination. A number of pupils were looking to gain their own PB’s and seven school records broken by three pupils. The relays were also exciting to watch, with lots of cheering from all houses. The captain's race was a great event that the Senior pupils enjoyed participating in, while the rest of the pupils enthusiastically cheered them on. Overall, the gala created a real sense of unity among the different houses and year groups.”

The House event as always was fiercely contested with relays and individual points added together to decide the champion house.
