The Mathematics Department is delighted to see strong interest from pupils taking part in national competitions, with outstanding results achieved in this year’s UK Intermediate Mathematical Challenge, a prestigious competition organised by the UK Mathematics Trust. 

The competition is designed to encourage mathematical reasoning, precision of thought and fluency, providing extra challenges to promote careful thinking and problem solving.
