A record number of pupils, parents, staff and alumni laced up and donned their best running gear (along with some comedy costumes) to take part in the College’s first Virtual Cross Country Championships. 

Over 300 people within the College community took part in the two week long event which moved online for the first time this year. 

Mr Harper, Head of Sport, said: “The support for this year’s virtual event has been incredible and seeing so many people within the Gordon’s Community take part, has been amazing to see. People took part for different reasons, no matter their age, stage or running experience. Some have commented that it’s even been a catalyst to get them back into running again which is great.

“This once again illustrates the resilience of our College community and I hope we can build on the success of this event and maybe run something similar next year, either virtually or hopefully at Countesswells when restrictions ease. A massive well done to everyone who took part.”
