Once again, the College was awash with colour and creativity as pupils and staff came together to celebrate World Book Day in style.

In the Junior School, pupils arrived dressed to impress as their favourite book character. Timeless classics such as Harry Potter, Paddington Bear and Dennis the Menace were seen as well as modern favourites such as Dogman and Astrosaur.

Our Junior Pupil Librarians presented a special World Book Day assembly, where they launched their ‘Me to You’ cards - an initiative that will help their peers choose new books from the library based on thrilling recommendations from Junior School pupils.

Senior School pupils hosted a World Book Day Pre-Loved Book Sale in MacRobert Hall, where each pupil from Nursery - S6 had the opportunity to browse the books on offer all in aid of Kayleigh's Wee Stars, with the remaining books being donated to VSA Mercat Bookshop Aberdeen.

The celebrations also included a lively S1/S2 House World Book Day Quiz in the Senior School Library, where they were tested on various bookish themes and topics. Congratulations to Sillerton who was crowned this year's winner!
