It was a night to remember as our Senior School pupils took to the stage to perform the electrifying musical "We Will Rock You".

Held in the MacRobert Hall, the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as students delivered powerful performances, bringing the vibrant energy of Queen's music to life.

The cast showcased their immense talent, from powerful vocals to impressive choreography, capturing the rebellious spirit of the Bohemians and confidently transported their audience to the dystopian society of Globalsoft where each performance was met with thunderous applause.

Krystal who played the role of ‘Meat’ shared: “The thrill of opening night brought an extra sense of vibrancy to the show and it was great to see the cast enjoying themselves. It has been such a special show to end my time at RGC and I am looking forward to doing it all over again tomorrow.

Miss Boyne, Principal Teacher of Drama, said: "It's incredible to see the show come together and finally welcome an audience in. The cast has poured their hearts into rehearsals over the past few months, and the energy of the audience adds that perfect spark. This is a massive production, but the students have truly risen to the challenge, embracing the rockstar life with enthusiasm and joy.”

Adding to the spirit of the evening, our Charity Committee hosted a refreshment stall, selling sweet treats in aid of Charlie House.

"We Will Rock You" is a musical that features timeless songs from the legendary British rock band Queen. Inspired by Ben Elton’s book, the musical tells the captivating story of a renegade group known as the Bohemians who live in a society where individuality and creative expression are suppressed.
