Throughout the 2024-2025 academic session, Robert Gordon’s College is hosting four twilight sessions covering race, neurodiversity, faith and religion, and LGBTQ+.

The panels will feature a diverse group of voices from across our school community, including pupils, staff and parents; each of them offering their personal insights.

Ms Menzies, Junior School Teacher, shares: “We are excited about these upcoming events as they will allow people from within our community to share their lived experiences through panel discussions. We aim to reflect the lives of our pupils, parents and staff in the College, while also creating a window into the views and experiences of others.”

The first of four instalments, which will focus on discussing race and the realities of navigating racial challenges in educational, social, and professional settings, is taking place on Thursday 3rd October 2024 in The Craig Centre for Performing Arts.

Mrs McEwan, Head of Guidance, added: “The EDI liaison group is delighted to share our inaugural Windows and Mirrors Series with the Gordon’s community. We hope the panel discussions provide an informative and comfortable way of discussing important issues that impact our whole community. The Junior and Senior pupils, in particular, are thrilled to be given this platform ”

This event is open to families and staff across the Robert Gordon's College community. Check your email inbox for the ticket reservation link.
