Robert Gordon founded the College to bring economic benefit to the North-east of Scotland. The Wood Foundation Centre for Science and Technology is our latest commitment to the region. At Robert Gordon's College, we believe providing practical opportunities and experiential learning will benefit our pupils - that's why we've launched ScientistsPlus, our Corporate Partner Programme - the first of it's type in the UK.
Our ScientistsPlus programme builds alliances with industrial partners to:
- bring real-world expertise in to our laboratories and workshops.
- give pupils the chance to experience industrial practice within a company.
- become a regional centre of excellence for Science and Technology for the wider community.
ARR Craib Transport Ltd is an Aberdeen-based haulage firm which has grown to become one of the largest transport logistic companies in the UK. Today, ARR Craib provides services within the local, radial, UK and international transport markets from bases and distribution hubs in Aberdeen, Cumbernauld, Stockton on Tees and Great Yarmouth. Services include rail freight and rail terminal management, warehousing, material handling, facilities management and manpower provision.
One of ARR Craib’s key values is supporting education and development - a value the company upholds by supporting staff on all aspects of their professional and personal development. The Robert Gordon’s College Corporate Partner Programme provides the company with a platform for sharing that value with the wider community and to support the educational growth and development of young people.
