Welcome to Robert Gordon's College

Our pupils’ success is built on a strong sense of who they are, what they can achieve, and what it feels like to be part of a happy and purposeful school community. Our school motto translates as ‘Be all you can be’ and we believe every individual child deserves this ambition. Robert Gordon’s College is a school which will prepare your child for a life where ambition, success and confidence are rooted in security, happiness and a sense of who they are.

P1 Parent
P1 Parent

By the time [my son] started school, we already felt like part of the Robert Gordon's family. Having never had a child starting P1 before everything was new to us, but the support we had both before the start of term and during the settling in period has been amazing. Everyone - from the admissions office to teaching staff to other RGC parents - has been so welcoming. As a parent, I couldn't ask for more.

Junior and Senior Parent

Having four children over Junior and Senior school I have been lucky to be welcomed both at the beginning of P1 and also joining mid term. The community within RGC is so inclusive - both educationally and co-curriculum opportunities. [My children] just want to be involved and have made wonderful like-minded friends. They really are encouraged to be the best they can be.

The transition into a new school can be challenging for any child, but the school made it seamless by creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere that immediately put her at ease. What stands out most is the school’s commitment to fostering not just academic excellence, but also personal development, confidence, and kindness. My daughter comes home excited to share what she’s learned, and it’s clear she feels valued and supported. We couldn’t be happier with our choice of school, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to any parent looking for a school that truly cares about its students.

Outdoor education is embedded in all areas of school life, whether it supports field trips and ‘real world learning’, develops teams and individuals to reach their potential through adventure education, or provides time and space for mindful reflection on the achievements of the fulfilling experiences we create. One day I might be helping Nursery children discover how to use fire or stoves safely, and the next I could be leading senior pupils exploring places of historical, cultural or scientific interest. It’s inspiring to work with an organisation that values both meaningful education and meaningful service to the community.

RGC laid the foundations for so many areas of my life; academic, social, and everything in between. The friendships forged there are lifelong, and the memories and traditions are firmly rooted in who I am today.

RGC gave me a well-rounded foundation beyond academics and exposed me to a wide range of skills and experiences. More importantly, it instilled a mindset that gave me the confidence to step outside a traditional path and back myself along the way.
